Liturgical Service Opportunities

Opportunities are available for parishioners interested in participating in liturgical ministries such as serving as an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharistic, Lector, Usher, Choir Member or Greeter at Mass, Children’s Liturgy of the Word Catechist or Escort, and carrying the Gifts in the Offertory Procession.

 Altar Servers
Our young people in grades 4 to 8 in St. Stanislaus Parish School or PREP program are invited to serve in this ministry. Contact Fr. Jonathan, 215-855-3133.

Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist
These men and women assist in the distribution of the Eucharist at the Masses on Sunday, and also bring the Eucharist weekly to the home bound and those in nursing homes. For more information contact Deacon Tony Bellitto at

Our lectors proclaim the Word of the Lord at Sunday Masses and various liturgical celebrations. If interested in obtaining more specific information or joining, contact John Henry at or 267-449-1584.

Music Ministry
Many musical opportunities exist at St. Stanislaus, and there is always room for more musicians and singers, including cantors. Please visit the “Music Ministry” tab on the home page for all the details.

Ushers assist in a variety of ways during Mass, from helping people find seats when necessary, to taking up the collections, to helping to count Mass attendance during Mass and distribute the parish bulletin. Ushers arrive about 10 minutes prior to Mass and check in with the team captain at the back of the church.  Additional help is always welcome, especially during special Masses on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Easter, and Holy Days of Obligation. Time commitment is your Mass attendance. Please consider joining one of our teams. Any questions may be directed to Tim Saylor at 215-530-6456 or email at
