Bereavement Ministry

The Bereavement Ministry of MMR and St. Stanislaus
The death of someone important to you—whether it is a spouse, a parent, a child, a sibling, or a friend—is a difficult and highly emotional experience.  Your grief journey can be overwhelming or even confusing at times.  The Bereavement Ministry of Mary, Mother of the Redeemer (MMR), in conjunction with St. Stanislaus Parish, is here to help you, guide you, and prayerfully support you as you heal.  Although the grieving process is different for each individual, the shared experience of pain and loss is the common thread that bonds us.
Monthly grief support sessions are held on the second* Thursday of each month.  All are welcome, parishioner and non-parishioner alike.  There is no fee. A morning session is held at MMR from 10am – 11:30am. and an evening session is held at St. Stanislaus from 7pm – 8:30pm.
* Meeting may be deferred to the 3rd Thursday of the month when it falls on a holiday or Holy Day of Obligation.

At any point, if you would like to talk to someone who understands what you are going through, please reach out to Jennifer Breen at 215-896-2720 or email her at Jennifer_no9@yahoo.com.
